About Me

I am a Licensed Acupuncturist recognized by the Virginia Department of Health Professionals, Board of Medicine. I earned my four year diploma of Acupuncture from Jung Tao School of Classical Chinese Medicine and am certified through the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). I am also a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant recognized by the Virginia Board of Physical Therapy. I earned my Associate of Applied Science degree at Jefferson College of Health Sciences. After finding my passion for yoga I became certified as a Ashtanga Yoga Instructor with an additional yoga certification in Pre/Postnatal yoga.

I am a native of Virginia, who was raised in Japan. I enjoy outdoor activities and being close to nature. I am a mother to a beautiful baby girl, loving motherhood and cherishing every moment spent with my family. I have studied both eastern and western medicine giving me insight into the strength of both systems which I believe benefits my patients. I am excited to be a part of the community of healthcare professionals here in the New River and Roanoke Valley.
